Do any of you guys use any of the quick detail stuff to keep up you shine and if so what kind. Just curious

 

I've used Zymol and McGuire's. I prefer the Zymol QD. I have used Sonus too, but only when the top cat of 'wax' is an acrylic like Klasse. Sonus should not be used if your top coat is carnuba.

 

Yes, it helps, and when you use it in conjunction with a duster (like the Calif. Car Duster) it can almost replace a car wash.

You use the duster on the car, which removes about 95% of the dust, and then you use the QD with a good microfiber cloth or two. If in doubt, wash the car instead, because neither tool should be used on an excessively dusty/dirty car.

I use Mothers Showtime QD most of the time, but am always trying to use up all my other stuff.
