Polishing A/C Lines

I was wondering how you guys polish the a/c lines, they look really hot polished instead of that dul grey look they have now...

Do you guys sand it if so w/ what grit and what else?? :P

I did this.
I just got some Mother's metal polish(Autozone). It works good. You just put it on there with a rag like it says, and then rub it right off. It shines almost any kind of metal up.

I will say this though, unfortunately, it does not last too terribly long. I did mine back at the beginning of the year. It is getting a little dull again 3.5 months later. It is just something that you have to keep doing, just like everything else to make the car look good.

Hope this helps...

I used Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish. Nothing will keep 'em looking good for a long time....they just oxidize fast.

Remember A/C lines go through a pretty big temperature range. From about 20 all the way up to 350+ degrees. That is more then likely the reason the shine does not last too long. Wenol is also another good product for metal polishing.
