What to use to clean up the engine bay

Hi

I was just wondering what kind of decent product I can use to clean up the engine bay of my car. I want to make the rubber hoses and other parts look almost like new. Now Ive seen people use something at some NE meets but I don't remember what it was. Also Im looking for something available at a Autozone or something along those lines.

Oh and by the way what would you recomend for a tire cleaner/polish that doesn't turn the tires brown after using it?

thanks in advance.

For the engine i dono, i kinda would like to know too, but as for a tire shine i recomend the Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance High Gloss that is not a spray on, it comes in a bottle and u wipe it on, it last a long time if ur tires are cleaned properly and doesnt really wash off in the rain. I have been using it for a few months now and im very pleased.

here is a link: http://www.meguiars.com/store_meguia...l.cfm?sku=G-75
