I use Lexol on my 02 GT, it works great. I just used it last night on my new 02 Max and it worked great there also.

wipes are garbage and dont clean or condition properly!!

i use mequiars leather cleaner (spray on rub off) which gets all the gunk off.
then i use their leather conditioner (like lotion that you rub in by hand and buff out) leather is alot more suple (spl?) and has an even shine

You can go two ways:

- One step cleaner/conditioner products like most of Meguiar's' products and one product that (used to be?) sold by Eagle One.
- Two step separate cleaners and conditioners. Lexol, Mothers, and I think Eagle One makes or made one of these as well. Some "boutique" brands like Pinnacle, Platinum, and others make them too I believe.

Heres a rule of thumb: Armoral Sucks! Just my opinion.

The Meguiars wipes are nice for a quick cleaning. When I have time I like to give it the cleaning and then conditioning. Make sure you put the stuff on evenly and wipe off the extra. I have black leather and can see where the extra has built up because there are light white marks.

I think the Meguiar's leather cleaner/conditioner cream is the best. I get lots of compliments on my leather, and I use it everyday. I have 92K miles on my car, and the perforated leather still looks great and feels soft, thanks to Meguiar's.

I also have black leather. Just make sure that you wipe it all off or it will leave white stuff. Same way with waxing your car, you don't want to leave any on there.

I just apply with my hand and then wipe clean and kind of buff the leather with a terry cloth.

Works great!

I'd say it's fact. General rule is anything armoral or tutle wax is bad. Not sure about the tutle wax high/end pro line, but the regualr consumer stuff is pretty crappy.

Stick with Mothers or Meguiers for the store bought detailing stuff.

As far as leather goes, a few people I know use 303 but I stick with lexol. I like the leather smell and it has an even look and isn't greasy
