I just bought my 96 SE a few weeks ago. The last owner was a smoker, and although the smell isn't too strong, it is still very much there and annoys me a lot more than I thought it would. Any tips on getting rid of it? Febreeze just isn't cutting it.

Yes clean the carpet, seats, glass and most of all the headliner, also try to get the vents out. (Sometimes they just pop out) Clean the headliner, carpets and seats with Prestone interior cleaner. It works great. The galss with Eagle One 20/20. For the vents just get an all purpose cleaner that is safe for plastic.
It will at least "look" better.
