Has anyone ever painted their car themselves?
i wouldnt recommend it unless you are a professional with professional tools.
too much can go wrong. you are better to pay some one to do it correctly the first time then to have some one do a half
job. in the long run saveing those couple of hundred dollars just dont make any sense

I painted mine myself, But I also happen to paint semi's all day long ( You have no idea how **** a Peterbilt owner is about their paint finish ). I agree with everyone else, let a pro do it. The materials alone to do it yourself will still cost hundreds of dollars, and if you screw it up you not only wasted a lot of money and screwed up your max, it'll probably cost more for a body shop to strip the mess off and start over. Now if it was an 85 Escort you wanted to paint.....
