Meguires gel product. Apply with a foam sponge and let it dry for a bit. Obviously do not use too much or it will fly off.

303 Protectant. No sling, lasts quite a while. Medium shine.

303 is a great product. But the cost is too high to use it on my tires. I save it for the dashboard, doors, vinyl bra, etc...

Yeah, I wish it was cheaper. Around me it's about $14. How much is it north of the border?

I have not found it at any of those places around me. I get it from a local marine supply place. It's very popular with boaters cause of it's high UV protection.

I use Meguiar's Hot Shine tire spray... makes 'em look very decent for the duration of the week (typically wash my car once a week)

Einzett Vinyl & Rubber care works great also. It has a satin finish. If your looking for that wet, shiny look, this is definitely not what to get. Just remember to always use a foam applicator. It is much easier to coat with than a rag. They also make foam applicators with handles which makes it even easier.

I agree, of the off-the-shelf prdoucts i can get my hands on - the Hot Shine spray seems to work the best. I've had it 2 weeks without washing again and the tire is still relatively shiney.

I used Black Magic once and though the initial shine is pretty good, it doesn't last as long and soon after the rubber turns brown.

The Meguiar's gel is also pretty good but messy and doesn't have as much shine as the Hot Shine spray.

Mcquires Tire Gel is the best stuff I have ever seen. No browning of the tire and each application last 2-3 weeks even through rain.

i use turtle wax tire shine, doesn't come out very shiny with the wet look, but it looks good, it lasts for a week or less, only like 3 bucks at walmart, wouldn't recommend it if u want shiny tires all the time. once i use up all the turtle wax, i'll prolly try meguiars too.

If you want your tires to really shine, try some tranny fluid. But it will prob come off really easily.

Meguiar makes a good tire and wax products. It lasts for awhile and have a nice shine to it. Give it a try and let us know.

I got some of Meg's NXT Protectant on Monday. I'm really liking it.
It has UV inhibitors so it protects your tires, plus you can use it on hoses under the hood, or any plastic or vinyl inside the car. Smells good too. And if you like glossy tires, you apply it and leave it. If you want a matte finish, you apply it and wipe off any excess. I'm very satisfied with it so far. The shine is definitely still there after 3 days (that's as long as I've had the product).

Here are a couple of shots of the Meguiars Hot Shine spray 3 weeks after initial application. It's been through 2 rains and the daily 75 mile commute.

Take note that the rubber had already turned brownish due to a competing product.

Obviously it's not as glossy as it was after first application, but i'm surprised that the shine is there even after several weeks.

I prefer the low gloss of the picture above over the super shine get your sun glasses out kind.
