Steam cleaning engine bay...?

Steam cleaning engine bay...?

I stopped by a 24hrs touchless/spray yourself car wash other night. Was told good idea for the winter to get salt off, etc.

Anyway, saw they had an engine cleaner as a choice of spray. Not sure about steaming mine, too much plastic that might melt. Is that possible?

I wouldn't try steam cleaning. I don't think it would melt any plastic, but I'd be afraid of the high pressure and moisture getting into where it shouldn't.

dont worry

hey guys my dads freind owns a detailing shop so iam prett knowledgble ebcuase i work there soem time well as far as steaming the engine it has to be runing and any engien drgreaser willw ork wiht a steam gun dont be afraid
