Duct Tape

I currently have duct tape on my car, holding plastic on my window for protection from the elements. Is my paint going to be safe? Will duct tape damage the clearcoat or worse? Just wondering.

Here's a link to the damage...

It shouldn't but it'll be hard to take off. try "goo gone" to remove it. if your car is waxed and taken cared of it shouldn't.

Yeah, I just waxed it two weeks ago, so I guess I'll be ok.

I don't think it will have any adverse effects. Any residue left over could be removed with GooGone or polish. If you have a good coat of wax on there, there probably won't be any residue anyway.
