Is this buffer adequate for polish/wax??

I just bought this sears buffer not too long ago and I am wanting to do a polish/wax job on my max, but I am wondering if this tool is ok for this job or do I need to go out and spend $150 for the PC7424, which I rather not do right now....thansk for any opinions

If you are looking to do a serious polish job, you'd have to pony up and get the PC. Plus, you can get them for $109 at Lowe's and Coastal Tool.

Agree - the one that you're asking about will help you lay down wax and maybe remove it. But that's about it. It is also very big and will be akward to use.

The sears buffer will do light polishing and waxing just fine. But, if you need to cut, get a PC or CP and dont look back
