Can I use a DA random orbit for light compounding?
Can I use a DA random orbit for light compounding?
Will one of those Pepboys/Autozone random orbit polishers work OK for some light compounding? If not, will a PC7424 do the trick? Or maybe rotary is the ONLY way to go for any kind of compounding regardless of degree of cutting.
Since I don't have access to a PC7424 of a rotary, I was wondering if any of you have had success compounding out light sanding marks with an agressive bonnet (maybe wool) on a simple DA machine.
thanks for your help guys!

I think I just might bit the bullet and purchase a PC. They seem to be pretty durable and can be use for other projects as well. I saw the 3" hook and loop adapter and thought it was pretty cool. Excellent for tight spots and small localized jobs. Thanks for the help guys!
