Man, the dust.

I have 1996 GLE Maxima. Its really dusty in the car i wipe it down and all it it still gets really dusty. As far as i know, there were never any pets in the car from the original owner. What do you recommend.

Fully clean the interior with an interior cleaner (everyone has their own suggestions as to what to use, I personally use Scrubby Bubbles) and a lint free rag (there are ones for windows you can use, or microfiber will work well also). Then, apply a protectant such as a leather and vinyl conditioner. Aside from that, I'd keep a Swiffer in your car or something to dust it in case it comes back. Bottom line is that dust will come back eventually in any car if you don't keep up with cleaning it. Even if you do the above steps every three months, going over it with a dry rag or Swiffer will keep it somewhat clean.

My car gets pretty damn dirty inside too.. I dont know why, I'm guessing its the air from the heater since we dont have a cabin filter. My dash will have a thick black coating of dirty on there after a few days of cleaning. I guess I'll have to try some of your guys remedies
