This happened to me, also. The overspray wasn't bad and my wheels are chrome. I took it back to the shop and pointed it out to them. They worked on it and made it better, but not up to my standards. It was a little tedious, but I used my clay bar on the wheels and it helped a lot. My wheels are smooth, simple design. Good luck ...

thanks, im gonna look into the clay bar. i really dont want to take it back to the shop plus it originally happened in sept. the warmer weather will be here soon and its time for me to get them fixed. i guess if all else fails maybe i will paint them over maybe the color of the car who knows.

clar bar is your best bet.

I've used a pink rubber eraser to remove overspray in the past as well, but not on something as fragile as a polish + clearcoat.

your other option is regular cleaner/wax or polishing compound on a rag. Iv'e removed it that way as well...

DO NOT USE THINNER! Use an aggressive claybar before you use any type of thinner. I reccomend clay magic or the meguiar's aggressive claybar.
