Michelin Brake Dust Repellant

Saw a tire care kit from Michelin. It had tire/wheel cleaner, brake dust repellant, and a tire shine, all in one package.

The brake dust repellant was what I was interested in. I found a link to the product here:

https://host.globalsecureserver.com/...me.php?cat=268

Does anyone have experience with this stuff?

First time I've seen it. It would be great if it worked as advertized!

I'll have to look for this at my local auto stores....

Heres the skinny: Its a polymer sealant for wheels. Poorboys makes essentially the same thing. They really do work; and if you want to keep your wheels looking new and easy to clean, use one of these products.

DuPont has one that I'm using as well - it sounds like the stuff you guys are talking about. I've only used it twice, but it seems to work pretty well. I have my wheels in storage until I can swap out the tires on them, but I tried them on my stock wheels and it actually does seem to keep the brake dust off.

Go figure that companies might actually start making stuff that actually resembles what they claim it will do...

What's this world coming to?

DuPont Teflon Wheel Cleaner does the same thing, but adds the cleaner element to it. It leaves behind a nice layer of poly sealant after you scrub and rinse, making it easier to clean each successive time.

What's the name of the Poorboys product?

Link for Canadian buyers. I've heard good things about that website. I'm putting together an order for myself this week or next.
