Question...Concerning Tire Shine remains

Well, the pops told me specifically not to spray the tire shine in his driveway b/c it will remain on the concrete for a long time /if not forever. In my case i pull my car out into the street to do it...to make a long story short, my father now thinks the street in front of his house looks like the fukin ghetto..b/c of 4 minute spray marks....beats me....

question...is there anyway to remove the armoral from the street/concrete? If we it were recent id say hose it...but at this point i dont think water is going to do the trick. Thanks in advance.

My driveway is all marked up from the stuff, but it doesn't bother me. Eventually it wears away. I mean, you guys know how long it lasts, or doesn't last on the tires. I've been using stuff made by Turtle Wax a bit more lately. You wipe it on and bingo, no overspray to worry about. I think Turtle calls it tire wax. Lasts a decent time too.

In the future just put a piece of carboard or probably even newspaper infront of each wheel and pull forward then do your thing. I guess you could even just do the top half of the tire then move a bit and do the rest. Doesn't help with the current situatio, but at least you want have to find some deserted road to apply you AA from now on .

Tire shine should be applied with a applicator sponge. It puts on just the right amount, and doesn't leave a mess to make your driveway all ghetto.

yea. def. have the same prob on my white concrete driveway. every time it rains, there are about 50 dry marks where the water is repelled and my dad is PO'd. i just resort to the applicator method and say F the sprays...
