Help w/ scratches

Ok so i bought my car debadged but, the idoit who did it left some nasty surface scratches around the letters; besides paint is ther anything i can do to fix it??? Also i'll have pics up later to show the extent of the scratches

Pics would help determine what you'll need to do to remove them. If you run your fingernail over the area can you feel the scratch? If not, they will be far easier to remove.

here are the pic, not as bad as it looks the flash on the camera gave it a little more detail when the picture was taken

Holy crap...it sure looks terrible. Glad it's just the pic. I wonder what they did when they debadged it? But, if you can't feel the scratches they should polish out. Looks like you'll need a PC random orbital or buffer to get them all out.

Like what kind of polish should I use that will work the best and what kind of buffer???

If you don't have a PC, try Scratch-X by hand first.

PC = Porter Cable random orbital polisher. Costs about $125. It does a better job of removing surface scratches than doing it by hand.
