rock dings with rust and some scuffing

hi everyone

ive got a bunch of tiny rock dings that have started to rust a bit only where the metal shows, and along the dull black carbon part of the door frame [ yours may be vinyl and have paint underneath, i think its the door pillar.

as for the rock chips, there's a ton on the front hood mainly and the bottom lip. theyre everywhere and i was wondering how i can touch these up and get rid of the rust also.

the door pillars have rust bubbling out in small specks and some larger. im guessing somebody touched these up before i bought the car?

after a few washes now, maybe 10 or so, these dings are getting more apperent. the whatever-they-used to touch these things up must have washed off or something because i dont remember there bieng so many when i bought the car.
im a noobie to rust and paint touch-up, i used to work in an autobody shop [Macco] but i was only a prep sander

if the rock chips wher alot less, i wouldnt worry about the touch-ups looking a bit off. but since there are alot of them, i wanted to keep things matched so it doesnt look worse.

anybody have some good products i can use and some tips to boot?
im worried i need a new paint job but :\

I've got the Nissan paint touch up pen. It doesn't seem to do a whole lot. The rock chips on my hood are still very obvious. I've got some other chips that are beginning to rust too, so I'm also interested in finding out how to fix them...

The paint pen might help stop the rust but what I don't like is that it doesn't really fill in the chips. I guess they're still less obvious than if I hadn't done anything...
