how to repel dust question, grounding

i use armor all and a chammy to clean my dash vynil and whatever interior parts. but the dust sometimes just re-sticks and its like static pulls it back is there any product you guys use to repel dust and get a nice shine?
ive seen dust whipes at the gas station that claim to repel dust but i was wondering if anybody has tried these kinds of pruducts and if they work
also i was wondering if, you know that strap that some cars have that touch the ground (road) would reduce my cars static and if u think thatd help with dust. i spend so much time trying to keep this thing spotless, thanks all

Get some microfiber towels at WalMart or another local chain store. There are some blue ones at WalMart under the HomeTex label that are pretty decent. Microfiber towels will grab dust like nothing else. Dampen one and wipe the dust right off.

I keep a swiffer cloth in my car...doesn't repel dust but cleans it up nicely when the dash needs to be wiped down. I've seen cars with the strap hanging down and I always wondered what that was for...
