winshield wipers

i know im an idiot but i have no idea how to change my winshield wipers, can someone please tell me how, i couldnt find any threads

I'm not sure I could remember the how to do it, but it's pretty simple if you look at it. Have you tried yet? You can also get somebody at autozone or a similar place to do it for you/show you how to do it if you can handle the embarassment .

you ahve to bring the wiper up and away from the windshield, twirl the wiper till its facing the sky, and pus down on the solid end. it should pop right off then just maneuver it out. there might be something you have to press depending on what brand of wipers you have.

best reply is the guy from the 4th gen thread, go buy a new set of wipers at kragen/pep boys/wherever, and ask them to pop them in for you.

Good grief. Press the little tab and slide it off the hook. It takes about 30 seconds per wiper to pull them and switch them. If your hands/fingernails are too girly use a flat screwdriver to pop the tab.
