gum and leather?

Hey guys. My girlfriend sat on some gum on the plane and didnt realize it till we got back. Now theres some green gum stuck on my front seat. Any tips on getting it off the leather without risking damage. I haven't had time to get to it yet. Would something like goo gone work or would it damage the leather? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

try this...works on carpet - put some ice cubes directly top of the gum, have a towel to catch some of the runoff (it's only going to be a little water), as the gum freezes - most of it should just lift off. the goo gone will probbably remove any residue but not sure its effect on the leather.

Ditto on that one. As far as the rest of the residue you could take your time and use a little dish detergent and water. After you finish make sure to condition the seat to treat the area where the gum comes from. I guess to easiest way to do it is clean all your seats and condition while you are at it you should clean all the seatsso the area you cleaned wont stand out. The removal of the gum with goo gone maybe a little harsh on your leather.

Use Stoner Xenit cleaner and a bristled brush, then clean off the xenit with water, then use a leather cleaner and conditioner. Get Lexol if possible as it is best.
