God Bless Menzerna (Pics)

I finally got a chance to do a complete detail using the badass Menzerna kit I bought. The results were INCREDBILE! Here is the process I used that took the better part of the entire weekend:

1. Wash
2. Menzerna Intensive Polish (compound)
3. Menzerna Final Polish
4. Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze (2 coats)
5. Meguiars Yellow Carnauba

The car came out looking like it was completely wet and I can't thank Tom (bluesbrekr) enough for suggesting this product. If you will remember, I had a HUGE problem with etched waterspots on my paint and they are now COMPLETELY gone. Pure greatness.

Here are some pics:

What I purchased was the Menzerna Get Acquainted kit from Proper Autocare:

http://store.yahoo.com/classic-motor...ngetackit.html

...along with a bottle of the Finishing Touch Glaze (which goes on and comes off like a breeze!)

http://store.yahoo.com/classic-motoring/mefitogl.html

The whole package came well sealed and was shipped to me very quickly. I have reviewed and used a lot of detailing products/kits but none can compare to the finish this process created.

Oh, don't let that picture fool you, they are there, but I have a nice little product that makes them almost disappear. I almost feel embarrassed using it, but it works -- Turtle Wax Color Cure -- the polish itself doesn't work too well, but combined with the little chip stick it comes with, it works wonders!

Excellent job. Did you use a machine or did you do it by hand?

Menzerna by hand? props dude that must have been a crazy workout. what applicator were you using and how hard did you have to work the polish? how long did it take per panel for Intensive Polish? Did you have a lot of swirl marks before hand and are they completely gone? Ive been wanted to use Menzerna for some time but was told to wait until I get a PC or else I wont like the results. also where are the pics... cant see em.

edit: they are showing up now

Whoa...that's amazing! Maybe I should order some of that for my car next summer - I've got lots of swirls in my paint now. Awesome job!

It can be done by hand, but you're right...it's quite a workout. I don't agree that you wouldn't like the results, provided you were consistant with it's application. But with a PC it's a whole lot easier for sure.

Good work. I think it is time for you to graduate to a porter cable as you will even get a better outcome.

We love the Menzerna polishes, they are excellent.

Have you thought of using Zaino?

Hahaha, S00NR also re-badged his grille with the updated Nissan logo like me. I hate the old wimpy one, I've had the new one in place for nearly a year now.

And damn this is a rather old thread.
