oxidation survival/revival and PC question/rubbing compound scratch
there used to be a thread, and i thought it was in the how to's but its not, where an org member had a maxima with really bad oxidation and he went through a process of chemicals to get rid of it and the results were amazing. i wanted to pass it on to my friend but i cant seem to find it. anyone know what im talking about?
ALSO, i dont see any specific recomendations for a PC. I want to get one because i dont need any more excuses than i have already to not go maintain my paint. its time to stop neglecting it, and not having to spend 5 hours on it is a plus.
so if anyone has any advice about a PC i'd appreciate it.
ONE MORE- I was using rubbing compound on various spots on my car, and i guess i used it too hard because now their are like light, but noticeable, scratches in the spots i used it. like maybe i wore into the paint? it looks terrible, caiuse there are many spots. anything i can do to get rid of it?

Yep. That was GTR-Rider's Max that got detailed by E55AMG2. I'll dig up the thread for you.
As for your PC, you can get either the PC 7424 or 7336. The primary difference between the two is the counterweight (5" versus 6"). As for the hazing you are experiencing with the rubbing compound, all you would need to correct that is your PC, a good set of pads, and a couple of polishes.
