i have a black 2000 maxi and the rear bumper has been tapped repeatedly from parking in the city. it has paint cracks and chips all over it and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to either repair or mask it....

Got the same problem. Mine has pecker-tracks on the bumper and I was thinking maybe a little bondo and touch up paint.

 

I don't know if you would want to spend the money of not, but instead of trying to repair it, try going for a new bumper cover.

It would be easy enought to prime it, paint it, and use your existing hardware to install it. Or have someone do the work for not too much money.

Just a suggestion, because I have been thinking about getting new front and back bumper covers for my '96 SE due to similiar cracking and tapping from parking.
