Can I get some suggestions on what to buy :hs:

I've been wanting to pick up a PC 7424 for a few years now (I know, pretty bad) but never got around to it.

Any suggestions on a good combo? I'd really just like a good backing plate and a good number (and selection) of pads. IIRC the difference the 7424 and 7336 is just the counter weights. I already have Meguiars 4, 1, 2, 9, and 7, and have enough to last quite a while lol. I'm thinking about picking up some P21S wax, but haven't done a whole lot of reading and am open to recommendations aswell.

Black BMW is the primary car fwiw (but otherwise a lot of dark cars (green/blue)).

It depends on what condition your paint is in, but I would recommend either the Poorboys SSR 2.5 and SSR1, or Menzerna IP and FPII. Both these combos will give you about the same results, but SSR2.5 is a bit stronger than IP. Menzerna FPII is the nicest finishing polish I have used yet and really recommend it.

Also for a black car, I really suggest you pick up Clearkote Red Moose Glaze. It looks great on dark colored cars and has some fillers. I would skip on the P21S because of the price and would go with either S100 or Nattys Blue Wax. Both of these are much cheaper than P21S, and look just as good if not better.

For pads, check out exceldetail.com. He has a great sampler set of pads and a backing plate. The propel pads are very nice and cheapest out there too
