Short of a steam vac, just put some soap in a bucket and add water - get a coarse brush and brush at the stain hard. The bubbles are what lifts the dirt away, so make sure you have lots of those - soapy water will not do anything - you need the bubbles. Use a shop vac to suck the water out of the seats.

Go to home depot and pick up some solvent if it's a tricky stain.

Go to Walmart and buy a bottle of "Spot Shot", which can be found in the household cleaner aisle. Spray that on the spots, and scrub with a stiff brush. If that does not pull all of it, follow up with some 2-way solvent and a dry rag and "comb" the rest of the dirt out of the carpets/seats

When I had my '91 Q45 I tried out that Oxiclean stuff and it worked great. Just make a diluted solution in a spray bottle and squirt some on the stain. Wipe the spray into the stain and it will come up easily.I tell ya, Oxiclean is the only "as seen on TV" product that I have ever seen that actually works like it does on TV.

I used the 303 Carpet Cleaner when I cleaned the old stains in my Maxima I just bought. It removed ancient coffee stains and mud stains. Worked incredible. Minimal scrubing. By the time I was done, the interior looked brand new.

When I used the 303 cleaner, they didn't get that wet. After half a hour, they were dry enough to sit on.
