Right now i use Gold class it really brigs the shine up but once my car in direct sunlight....ugh lets just say i don't wanna drive it.(prev. owner scratched-swirled-chiped the hell out of the paint and i think it's never been waxed before )
Right now i have
1. Mc'Gs fine cut (doesn't work without buffer)
2. Mc'Gs car show polish
3. Mc'Gs yellow wax
4. Mc'Gs Gold class

Today i put one layer of Gold Class and then on top of it some yellow wax shines really but sunlight=

They make a product called "Swirl Remover". All kinds of different brands have their own version, I really don't know which one is the best, but they will all work. We use the stuff at the detail shop I work at and it works wonders on black cars.

It's really hard to keep a black car 100% swirl free. I'd recommend investing in a random orbital polisher (Porter Cable 7424 or similar) With the proper polish and pads you'll be able to get rid of most of the swirls, but be forewarned - they will return. No matter how carefully you wash/dry it's almost impossible not to cause some swirls.

I forgot to mention that i have ScratchX the reason i bought it becuse it breaks down very easy and that stuff worked quite well but you need to apply a lot of elbow grease i spent almost two hours polishing just one rear quarter panel

I've used the scratch-x and didn't find that it was any more difficult than than the gold class. I would just continue to use the scratch-x or the swirl remover followed by the gold class or yellow each time you wax and eventually it will get better. I would also use the clay to get rid of contaminates and make a smoother surface for the polish/wax. Just my .02.

+1 for claying the vehicle.

I'd use a cutting creme to get a little more aggressive with the swirl marks, then follow that with swirl remover just in case. Finish it up with a good paint sealer and I think you'll see a big difference.

/hope that helps
