bah! double posted on 4th gen forum. but here i have it in the correct one.

This has been about a year since I painted my trunk lip spoiler. I taped off about an inch off the spoiler and forgot to put on another layer flush with the spoiler to avoid drips, so theres a strip of spraypaint on my trunk that I need to get off. by the time I had realized I sprayed on my trunk, it was about 3 layers of krylon fusion and 3 coats of dupli clear. I tried wetsanding with 800 and claybarring, however, no luck. Any paint removers i can use to hopefully take it off?. I can live with a bit of haze since I can just wetsand, compound, clay, polish, wax. so not an issue, jsut need to the the paint off. Thanks in advance.

you need a low base solvent and a ton of elbow grease

Bestine, i know this is old but no1 has mentioned it. Like scubasteve said, its going to take some elbow grease, but use bestine, i used to have a job in graphics arts and it is fairly powerful solvent that doesnt damage the plastic or paper graphics so it shouldnt hurt your car paint.
