wax coats?

does wax layer? if so, which wax is best for this?

Yes it does. Best? Souveran, IMO. I have also layered S100 and Natty's Blue. Best to wait about 24 hours between layers.

i thought you dont have to wait for normal waxes, only for syntatic polymor

Maybe not. Normally I try to wait, though. And let the car sit in the sun for a while after you're done if possible.

ANY wax is best for layering...

saying that any wax really layers better than others is crap.

souveran is better for dark colors.

it's always best to let them "cure" for a little while before adding another coat.

Agreed, any wax can be layered. My point was that layers of Souveran looks best.

Souveran for dark cars

p21s/s100 or meguiar's #16 (if you can still get it) looks awesome on light colors.


Jeff Werkstatt products look AWESOME on metallic paint.

Carnauba waxes can be layered. However, be sure you're not using a cleaner/wax as you will remove any previous layer when you apply the cleaner/wax, defeating the whole purpose.

Also, you can layer with synthetic polymer sealants but you have to wait 24 hours between layers (except for Zaino with ZFX - up to three coats per 24 hours).
