Removing OTHER car paint from my car, need help

Ok, so I was in a hurry, being careless, etc., and I lightly scraped the edge of my bumper on the corner of the garage. There was no structural damage, but a bunch of old, red paint got onto my bumper. I tried to wash/scrub it off, but it only helped a little.

Does anyone know of a good way to get this paint off of my car?

A mild polish/paint cleaner ought to do the trick.

Any pics? That would help us know how much paint and the extent of the scrape. Being on the bumper, there may be some scuffing that may not polish out, but you should be able to remove all the red paint.

Be sure to try some clay before polishing.

Try some wet sanding if the above does not work. First 2000 grit, if that doesn't work then try 1500 grit, if that doesn't work then 1000. You might need to use a harsher grit but that might require repainting. But if 1000 or 1500 grit works then work your way up to a finer grit to 2000. After that, you need to use some rubbing compound and elbow grease to smooth out what the 2000 grit couldn't. After that look into something finer than the rubbing compound, such as Meguires swirl remover. Once that is done use some clay bar to remove any fine particles in the paint. Then once that is completed Apply good quality wax. Note: Between grits wash and clean the area that you working on to prevent any large particles scratching the surface and making it worse.
