Cleaning my Chrome rims

I had my rims in storage for the winter and Monday I put them back on. I knew they would be dirty but the dirt doesn't seem like it wants to come off. I used good ol soap and water then I brought some brand chrome wheel cleaner, then I applied some mothers chrome wheel polish. Now they seem bright but still not clean. What other product might I use that would take the dirt and I guess brake dust off?

Thats a tough one.
1. Not used in winter.
2. Cleaned with soap and water and chrome polish.

You think the dirt somehow settled into the chrome? Can you post some pics of the rims?

Be careful what kind of soap polish to you. If they've got aClearcote you don't want to damage that.

I'll take some pics in the morning. Also I brought some of that stuff recommended I hope that helps. I just don't see how this happened I babied these wheels and now they look like this.

I use windex on my chrome wheels it will have you lookin like glass Trust me. dont use no ammonia tho how ever you spell it.

Wouldn't foil sratch the rim? I never heard of this combination.
