spoiler problem, wet sand?

spoiler problem, wet sand?



im a complete noob when it comes to paint and body work, but i wanted to try and fix my spoiler. i thought possibly wet sanding it and reclearing it. but does it look to be a lost cause? any inputs are appreciated.

Do you have close-up shots? From that angle it's hard to tell if it's still workable, or if you've got clearcoat problems.

Much better! Doesn't look as bad as i originally thought (e.g. clearcoat failure). If anything it just looks like a lot of leftover gunk from past applications of wax and such.

Do you have a PC by any chance? That's a good way to start for now. I would apply something not too harsh to try it out, maybe even by hand, some Meguiars Medium Cut Cleaner.
