Dent removal?

I was told by someone that this definitely works. He did it after a hail storm, and pocketed the insurance cash they gave him for repairs. On a hot day, he set his car outside, and put an ice pack(like the ones for cooloers/lunch boxes) on it. Anyone tried this? Differences in hot/cold should make it work...

hmmmm lol sounds like a good idea, but I've never heard of it. Too bad it can only be used for the roof, trunk and hood.

I really dont think it would hurt your paint. They test things like this through salt, ice, the desert, sand etc...for long periods of time. 3 mins of hot and cold isnt nearly that.

It doesn't work on Maximas. They don't have plastic doors. I tried it on the FX, no go.

You don't need a can of that stuff. CO2 will work(Ie paintball/bb gun stuff) or just an ice pack(from what I was told).

Don't hold me too it though.

If it works on plastic, I don't see why metal wouldn't work. It is more reactant to radical temp changes. Now thickness of the metal would effect it...and whats around it. It would probably have a better chance of working on the hood vs the door where there is a lot of support.

Hm, I don't know exactly what his prices are, and which he can/can not do. Here's his number... 608-289-3827. The dealership he works at is in Rockford... I can't talk to him for you because actually I just got transfered to another one of the company's other dealerships... (Toyota Lexus Scion... drag.) But yeah, he's a good guy and has alot of experience... His name's Rich, tell him you got his number from Jeff that used to be a detailer at Nissan. Where do you live, Schamburg?
