Fixing interior vinyl scratches

Hi, my first time in this forum, but I've got some scratches in my vinyl (near the glove compartment specificaly) on my 96 max and was wondering what I could do to either get rid of them or lessen them.

Is it possible? Or am I screwed?

Try putting a heat gun to it and rub it out a bit. It won't get rid of it, but should lessen it.

Hmm...i'm not sure that'd work, but it's worth a try i guess. Thanks.

Couldn't hurt. When C.C scratched up my dash during an install that's what he did. Heated up the scratch with a heat gun. It didn't get rid of it but it did smooth it out a little bit and made it less noticeable.

Do you have a pic of the scratch?

No pics, but there are a few. One day when I can get power to a hairdryer or something, i'll try it.
