Cleaned up the maxima yesterday...

I started a full exterior detail 2 nights ago from 5-8pm and finished the following morning occupying another 5 hours. My process included a wash with Armoural car wash soap, Mother's clay bar, Ultima Paint Prep Plus, Menzerna Intensive polish at 1000rpm, Ultima Paint Guard Plus, followed by 1 coat of Mothers Cali-Gold paste wax. My finish is smooth as can be, but after further research, I've seen that I should've used the IP before the Ultima paint prep. Also, after applying the Ultima PGP and letting it sit for 6 hours before wiping off, should I have not applied the wax afterwards? Is the PGP supposed to be the final coat? I'll have pics this afternoon.

wow man, the fact that you have a lighter color (compared to black) really shows how well all that work payed off. i remember when i first claybarred and it felt smoother than glass lol.

this thing looks like its all oiled up and ready to go tanning, i could only imagine how smooth it must feel.

Paint feels smoother that my windows right now, which also have wax on them. I'm very happy with the results.

good job , if you clay the car do you have to use a buffer and polish and wax it ? Or it can be hand wax no problem?

That was a month and a half ago and its filthy now hahahaha. I haven't washed it since that day so maybe this weekend I'll throw some soap on her and see if she looks just as good again.
