Removing caked on putty dust

Hey guys. About a month and a half ago I had to bring my Sterling Mist 02 Max for some paint work on the back right door. Somehow these guys managed to get dried on putty on the interior of the door the front passenger door. My black oem speaker is white with putty dust. The mechanics just suggest to use a soft brush to get it out(they won't do anything themselves). Any ideas? Also there are a few spots of dried putty on the hard black molding itself, just below the window and door lock console. Thanks for any input guys.

****erz...I hated when my body shop would do crap like that and then I had to clean their mess up!

It's compound residue.

Just use some soap and water or some sort of all-purpose cleaner. If it doesn't come out like that, then use a SOFT bristled brush to work into the little grooves. Same goes for the handles, just use a soft bristled brush to get into the little crevices.
