My first real detail. 50/50 shot

well this is my first REAL paint correction work on my car.






Rotary buffer.

SSR 2.5
SSR 1
EX-P





im having troubles with splatter, sometimes it works good but some dont

also my car has a lot of chips/scratches that ARE to the metal. soo they kinda stand out even more now.....

It's a start. I wouldn't use a buffer, just work by hand.

i dont see how those deep of scratches will come out by hand?

Buff that bad boy up. You'll murder yourself dong it by hand. The swirls and scratches are still good and plenty so it looks like you may want to work the product in a little longer but it's a good start.

As for the splatter, your gonna get that, especially if you use too much product. Try putting the product on your pad, rubbing it on manually then turn the buffer on when it's resting on the paint.

Have fun and look forward to the final results.

Oh and Burlington, NC. Nice. I went to school just down the road from you at Elon. Looks like Coach K is having another fine season this spring too!

ya once i got towards the end of the car i was a lot better with splatter.
