Meguiars Ultimate

I just finished using Meguiars Ultimate paste on my new 14' Max. I have to say it applied very easily and wiped off easy. I have to say it looks great but I don't think it shines any better than the Eagle One Nanowax. Of course this is the first coat and my old 04' Max was black and had several coats of the Eagle One on it. My new one is Gun Metallic which of course doesn't shine as well as the black one did. Overall I'm satisfied with the Meguiars. I just hope the price will be justified down the road.

Use the Ultimate Quik Wax after each wash in between proper waxes.

I've used Meguiars Quick Detailer. Is that the same thing?

I really like Ultimate Quick Wax. It is survival for a black car.

Here's a SEVEN WEEK quick wax showdown slideshow I made a few years ago.

Meguiars is on the right.

Hope you're not using wax for the "shine" factor? If you are it don't really work that way, it's to just to protect your clear coat. What some waxes will do us fill in the swirls for a short period of time but it will come back when the weather removes it.

Now, if you are going to Machine polish your car then that is how you get a great shine. THEN add a protectant or a wax AFTER a machine polish your car will stay shiny for much longer.

You can use either the ultimate quick wax or quick detailer. Just make sure to apply it evenly.
