Tilley, what are your mods other than the 3.5? I remember OBX headers, some kind of CAI and a lightweight flywheel. Am I forgetting anything?

If you could provide an EXACT list of mods it would be cool so we could compare your dyno to a 2k2-2k3 with similar mods to see how VTC affects dyno.

While the numbers are excellent (up 25wtq thanks to heads), I dunno how much of an advantage the smaller wheels and 5-speed (less drivetrain loss) give you. My impression is that perhaps a 2002 with the same mods but a 5-speed tranny instead of 6sp and 16" wheels rather than 17" would dyno a little higher than you.

BTW - When are you going to the track? I wanna see how your trap speed compares to SR's and last time's. I think you were trapping 99-100 mph...

I believe there is another one that is better.

I knew it, I just formulated that wrong. Hence why I said "a 5-speed tranny instead of 6sp and 16" wheels rather than 17"", the last part being wrong ("would dyno a little higher than you"), which should be "would allow you to dyno a little higher" than a normal 2k2. I believe you have 16" 240sx wheels, right?

The important is... does it FEEL like 240whp?

When are you going to beat your 13.87 track time?

I don't get it. Why is the torque LOWER than it was last time out?

basically i opened up the IM so there is no VI divider. so doing that causes a loss in tq but gain in hp.

So sort of like running a MEVI with no butterflies right? Hehehe, Nismology found out how that feels the hard way . It had so much less power on the bottom end than my car, but once the motor was at 5k it would just fly.

Tilley do you have the runfiles? I would love to compare them to a stock 5-speed Altima (same tranny) dyno, to see what the curves look like.

Here are some 02+ Altima & Maxima dynos:
http://forums.maxima.org/printthread.php?t=268752

Can you post your 238whp runfile?
