you should only dyno 5spds in 4th Gear.. i call do over

the dyno sheets are of my car, i think its low, but i need other sheets to compare.

the mods are
Berk midpipe
Motostorm UDP
Pace setter STS
WSP Y-pipe

4th gear pull!!! according to some site 4th gear has a 0.954 gear ratio and 3rd has a 1.24

i dont know, nemore, even the people at the dyno place said it was a 3rd gear pull.

hmm, dunno either. im jus researchin on that.. lol

they said its best to dyno on the gear closest to 1.00 ratio, which in our case.. is 4th

Ramsey it looks like your VIAS isn't functioning properly. Every DE-K N/A dyno i've seen the HP was at or greater than the torque. Look into that and do the JB weld fix...

3rd gear torque is going to be higher but in 4th gear hp would be higher.

Hmmm...interesting. But look at the shape of the torque curve. It's looks to really be dropping off in the top-end.

When torque drops usually hp drops. When the torque curve stays flat it increases. I think it his just the gear he used since its not a 1.1 ratio.

I understand the relationship between TQ and HP. That's not my point. It's just the shape of the TQ curve that puzzles me. How exactly does dynoing in a non-1:1 gear affect the SHAPE of the curve?
