You're the one who has hijacked ynot411's dyno thread and asked reposted questions that can be answered by doing some searching on this forum and on Google/Yahoo, so how about you just learn your lesson and move on.

I would love to see the difference between your numbers if you swapped on a Berk intake or even a PR Intake. The torque figures arent nearly as low as I thought they would be with the Injen. Nice work!

JWT has a 65 shot program, switchable to their N/A program.. Search for more info on that.

Many members have dealt with them(JWT) including myself, and their customer srvice sucks and they think they know more than half of what they really do know. Also, they will have you wait over 6 weeks to get the damn thing.
thanks for the info I'll check out the jwt site it does not have as much info as I thought it would have last time I checked but that was a few months ago

Shouldn't you be dynoing in 5th gear? When i have dynoed more than 35 pulls on my maxima. the operator explained to be that for the most realistic and acurate #'s i should dyno in the gear the with a 1.00 ratio which in a 5speed tansmission is usually 4th. I know in a 6th speed transmission it is usally 5th.
I know when my brother dynoed his G35 coupe he was advised to use 5th since that was the gear with 1.00 ratio.

My question is in the maxima 6speed tranny is 4th gear 1.00 raito or 5th gear? Would dyno a 6 speed in 4th be the same as me dynoing my 5 speed in 3rd?

IIRC, 4th gear on the A33B 6MT is around 1.05 while 5th is around 0.809.

Zack - No, 4th gear is as close as you can get it to 1:1....5th is way off, and 3rd is way short....Not sure on the G35...but that is a totally diff tranny than the 6spd max trans with totally different gearing....Spec V on the other hand, is comparable since we both have the same transmission
