Dyno'd again
Dyno'd again
Well I went to the dyno after I fixed somethings and got good results
. Well anyway I put the dynos from last month onto this months. The yellow, green and blue lines are from last month, and the red and light blue (or its supposed to be) are from this months dyno. Before I went I took off all the corrections to see what my A/F Ratio would be with out it and just laughed when I found out
. It just dropped off the chart after 3500 rpms and didn't read it anymore. But from running that rich compared to last months and still gained TQ and HP. If I put my corrections back in my new curves would look pretty good. Only mods are 00VI, intake, and y-pipe (and I guess VAFC-2 but no tuning). The light blue curve is the run with the power valve removed, I lost 20 ft-lbs of TQ and lost 2 HP.. I'm going to put nitrous on as soon as I feel like installing the kit.

What were the peak #'s? Power valve killes midrange pretty bad. Maybe with some tuning you can get higher peak #'s. Or a little small mods here and there.
Do you have the run files? Was this on a dynojet?
Why not post the actual sheet? Why didn't you take it to fuel cut?

The dynojet I went to gives a print out of the numbers and not a disk thats why i put all of the data in an excel program. Also I didn't post the actual one because I wanted to over lay the dyno from last month to show the gains from fixing things and no tuning. The reason some runs stop early is because I forgot to disconnect the speedlimiter (cuts off about 5900-6000 rpm). Peak #'s
Run_005 (light blue line) 171.5 hp 170.6 TQ
Run_004 (Red line) 173.5 hp 189.3 TQ
Run_003 (Blue line) 164.2 hp 185.4 TQ
Run_002 (Green line) 169.5 hp 185.0 TQ
Run_001 (Yellow line) 169.7 hp 186.9 TQ

Why a lot of places do not give run files out kills me.
It would eliminate all of this extra stuff. With the run files you could've done the overlays without any unecassary Excel time, in under a minute with SAE, STD and many other corrections as well as speed, A/F, torque
Sorry just venting.
