...I know, pig rich. Will be taking care of that soon with either a reflash or SAFC/VAFC.

In the graph above, I posted the original stock dyno....

Secret Sauce?

No low end hp loss and a huge hp increase in the upper rpms, while running very rich. Nice.

Any other exhaust mods other than the headers?

Pretty good numbers. One question, is your VIAS power valve held open or do you just have it working normally? Based on the little I know of the SSIM, I'd have thought you'd lose some low end compared to stock, but it isn't the case here judging from the graphs, unless my preconceptions were wrong to begin with.

Oh yeah, could you send me the runfiles please? I believe you have my email. Thanks.

just out of curiosity hayes, why is your baseline on the low side? 196whp and 211wtq? most stock 6spds dyno at 205 and 220wtq

Steven,

Everything else was stock on my car except a 2k3 MAF. Now, I originally attributed my low baseline to that, but nothing explained why my car, in stock form, still read rich. I think my low numbers came from a oil fouled MAF. I stll have that MAF in this newest dyno (also believing it helped the rich condition). I have theorized if I replace my MAF with a new one, I'd see a dramatically different a/f ratio. Since I am not going to take the chance on cleaning a $400 to $500 MAF sensor, I am going be trying a 'different' method on getting more metered air into the car.

Elon, I checked the temperature of my heads versus the lower intake manifold and there is a 50+ degree difference using those ebay spacers I bought. The gaskets seem to work nicely. I have the stock gasket between the upper and lower, the ones I got only replace the head to lower intake. I doubt it makes any power, but it sure will help consistency at the track.

My guess is with an infared thermometer.

I don't have one of those, but my multimeter has a temperature probe that plugs into it.

Also, there is no coolant running through my TB or my upper manifold.

I know the TB coolant by-pass, but is there another inlet/outlet that I'm not aware of?

For the 2k2+ guys, I think there is only one coolant passage, its on the upper manifold right where the TB bolts on.

For us other swappers, there was one on the TB I used, plus the one on the manifold. 4th gens have two as well if I remember correctly.

sorry for the thread hijack.
