My Dyno Numbers

My mods are
CAI, Full 00VI kit, Safc, Exhaust without cat.

1st run was 169.83 hp 174.64 torque
2nd run was 166.36 hp 170.97 torque
3rd and last run 164.44 hp 172.18 torque

I had just finished putting in the vi so it was not tuned up 100%.

Are they good numbers or i could of done better ?

Are you 5spd or auto, also what does your a/f ratio look like. At what rpm are you reaching peak hp?

Auto. a/f started at about 14 something and then would drop to around 13.

Better yet, do you have the runfiles? Was this on a Dynojet?

Alex they havent sent you anything because they lost all the run files the week after the dyno day that there was that nasty thunderstorm. Lightning hit in their area and fried their computer.

Also if you're gonna post in this forum, at least scan the printouts that you got and put them here, lol.

BTW, those are STD #s, untuned, stock ypipe.

well you already know you got more power after that concervative tuning I did based on the a/f readings from the dyno. I'll fine tune the tuning next time you want to go to a dyno (Fynetune this time please, SAE #s FTW).

I suggest ypipe as your next mod, since you dont seem to want to do the OBX headers anymore. Also an adjustable fuel pressure regulator would go great along with that SAFC (you know what Im talkin about )

My personal experience with Ebay FPRs is horrible, so I wouldnt recommend that stuff (although many here have ebay FPRs and have no problems). I have a Fuelab AFPR that I got from Justin @ ImportCarPartsPro. It was $139 shipped. Its good quality stuff tho, no Mickey Mousing in that peice at all.

not bad that was close to my setup and pulled slightly higher numbers for torque. I had custom intake, 00VI, Y-pipe, and a crappy tune. I had my points all messed up so I was losing power during the switch overs. You can do alot. Get the Y-pipe and a catback with some tuning. That should yield some good gains.

Were those SAE corrected numbers? Check out my dyno for comparison:

My next mod will be an 00VI.
