For your mods, that does seem a little low, especially in the torque department. I am running 243hp/237tq with a no SSIM, 2.5" exhaust, GAB, no header wrap, no port matching and stock fuel pump.

What kind of dyno were you on?

it says dynojet on top of the sheet...

this is one of the highest n/a numbers i have seen in a while, especially on stock internals, stock intake tube etc...

i believe the torque is low due to the exhaust... i am running straight through mufflers, hardly any back pressure..

time for the track

nice numbers though.. what are you using to tune?.. how come you changed the fuel pump?.. and any details on wrapping the headers?

A straight through exhaust wouldn't cause a to little back pressure issuse. If anything too large of piping causes more pressure because the exhaust pulses tumble over on one another. Nice numbers although they are a little low. Its still a decent gain. I'd expect 10-15whp more given the mods. Many cars here on stock internals are 245whp+

nice numbers. links to n/a w/ stock internals that are dynoing 260hp? I know dynos aren't the end-all-be-all but some of you guys make it seem like everyone and their mother are in the 250+hp range...and to say you would expect him to be in the 275ish range is just asinine imo. I would have liked to see how much a 3" intake might have helped you...maybe next time

Mice numbers. Port work & a larger (less restrictive exhaust) can move the power band to the right. You would def benifit from an extended limiter. I would like to know what your timing curve looks like or did you loose a lil low end from lowering the from 13's to 12's afr?

The 235 threw me off for a second. 260 is really good. Congrats.

Very nice numbers Robert, I bet that thing pulls hard being a 6spd..

My last trip to the dyno resulted in 259hp and 258tq.. I'm an auto FTL though lol..

I'm curious to see the nitrous numbers on the 100shot so I will stay tuned

What was the problem with the nitrous btw?

the car was tuned at uprev..... the graph shows two numbers.. 248 was the horsepower on the stock tune... 261 was after my timing, a/f, and so on was adjusted using uprev software.. the founder of uprev tuned my car..

i changed the fuel pump because I spray...
headers are wrapped with DEI wrap then sealed with their high temp stuff..

stock TB, stock MAF..

uprev recommends not to extend the rev limiter on a DE, so i took the advice..

fuel solenoid was not working, too much time on the dyno is expensive..

nice..

did you wrap the headers yourself.. if so.. what inch by length of the material was used?

i plan on doing the same to mine so any help you can give me on doing them would be great..

also on a sidenote... kinda weird that uprev says dont raise the rev limiter.. yet technosquare says raises it on their tune... hmm

yeah, my thoughts as well...

I dont know, technosquare has been doing this for a while... I cant say where the facts lie.. alot of people have their limiter raised.. I wanted to do it but did not...

apparently the DE version is not meant to rev high, their must be some experience somewhere or they would not be saying this..

I believe my wrap is 1" width, overlap should be a quarter inch... just follow the instructions and be patient, u will also need some stainless steel zip ties..

in my experience uprev is a little bit overboard on playing it safe and the guys there are kind of stuck up about their product. they tend to tune de's in the 12.5:1 range and not raise the limiter, where as we know that on de's there are gains to be made by running in the 13.0:1 range and if using an SSIM you definitely need to rev to 7100+. they may think that 7100 is unsafe, but ive yet to hear of ANYBODY blowing their engine because of revving to 7100. oh well. your numbers are probably peak numbers even if revving higher, but you would benefit from a higher rev limit.

On a side note, those are still pretty strong numbers

yes SSIM FTW in this case, and in most
