One of the ways to get points is by being the last poster of a thread. So if someone else chimes in after you, youre not the last poster anymore thus you losing points....

ive noticed one thing, people with very low activity levels dont like the new system, the people that are actually here, dont mind it and actual want to toy around with it.

Can't say as I see the value, but I also don't have my undies in a twist about it.
