do I need to flush?

Hey guys!
going to do an oil change soon but I was wondering if I am going to need to do a flush first?
I've been using penzoil full synthetic 10w/30 with a Mobil 1 filter for the last 4K miles. I want to start using amsoil synthetic or mobile 1 synthetic, but I don't know if I should flush before I use different brand of oil? If so then how do I do the engine flush. I've never done one before and I don't know what kind of flush I should get.
Oh and my last question. Should I use 5w/30 or 10w/30. I live in Arizona so high temperature is an issue here. current temperature is 108F.
Thanks for any input.

No flush is necessary, just don't do a really long drain on the first fill.

10W-30 would be the better choice for you because it is more stable at higher temps.
