Quaker State's Fully Synthetic oils are "true" synthetics, with a PAO basestock like Mobil 1, and Amsoil, and unlike most other "synthetics."

Should be a pretty good alternative off the shelf PAO synthetic alternative to Mobil 1, something easy to find that you don't have to order. I've been thinking about giving it a try, just to try something different.

Their dino oils appear to be just fine.

Hard to find UOA's on Quaker State syn, tho.

i really don't know about the synthetics that Quaker State makes, but i know that the regular oil they make contains something like wax. two people i know have had this wax build up on their oil pick ups and seize their engines. its only two people, but they changed their oil pretty regularly and it still happened, but thats just my experience.

Quaker State oil was known to "foam up" a few years back.
