Which brand of gas?

I always use 93 octane gas, I just wanna know which brand is the best? Someone told me to use chevron, but i always wonder why chevron stations are always so...hmm quiet..there are always just another guy and me pumping gas. Is that because of the price? $2.11 a gallon here

I used to use mobil and tried sunoco, but I found that amaco or bp is makes my car feel much better.

91 Chevron is the fuel that best suits my baby!! Since CA prizes are @ $2.55, I kind of bite my teeth while filling up my tank

Cheapest 93 I can buy. 91 is almost impossible to get here. Brand means nothing to me, although I will avoid totally pissant stations in case they have water in the tanks

I have tried all the major brands and for me Mobil is best (BP is a close second). But I almost never fill up with something other than mobil 93. Besides being the clearest gas, my max responds best to it. And I never ever fill up at no-name stations.

I keep seeing a MPG improvement with Shell V-Power. I've used it for weeks at a time and even switching back and forth (for a week or a month) between V-Power, BP Premium or Hess. The MPG is always better with V-Power when driving back and forth to work (country road/highway/city). MPG on just highway trips is even better than normal. I usually average 250 to 280 to the 1/4 on trips, but have hit over 310 with V-Power.

To make sure it's not placebo, have your wife or whomever go and fill it up at times for you and she can keep records. Then 2000 miles later you can see which really gave the best mileage

Car runs best on Sunoco and especially Amoco. I get the best mileage with Shell, but the car runs like crap.

I asked her to put it in her car as well to see. It really isn't placebo. I drive the same route every day, and even on weeks that have heavier traffic (more stop and go) the Shell V-Power did better. I was amazed. I am the first one to stand up to the placebo mods. This gas, at least here, gave me consistently 20 miles more on my work commute weekly. Switching back (and grannying the gas) to BP took the 20 miles I gained away.
