BG machines

I dont know how many of you are mechanically inclined, or now about the products available, but im a mechanic in training. Would it be unwise to do a BG oil flush on a car that has had regular oil changes every 3000 miles, never eats it and has 116,000 miles. I heard somtimes doing this flush can break down the sludge creating seals in high mileage cars...

thanks

yeah, it can cause more harm than good. it will move away all of the oil buildup which might have been sealing some areas and it might leak like a civ. it's the same thing as putting synthetic oil in an older car, it's so thin and with the cleaning additives it could cause an oil leak by cleaning some of the sludge or buildup of whatever away. that's why we carried every BG machine in our shop except that one.
