I really need to flush the wife's coolant in her 92 (dirty word to follow) Honda civic after a throttle body hose came loose and I replaced her's roadside with straight H20. Does anyone know if Nissan OEM coolant is Kosher for the evil H's???

 

The stickie on this site says that you should stick to either Nissan, Honda or Toyota antifreeze for any Jap car. The implications from some of the posts is that the Toyota antifreeze is the best of the three, but there does not seem to be any science behind that opinion. I think you are safe with any of these in the Honda -- or your Nissan. Do not use any US produced antifreeze.

 

Zerex G-05 should also work because of its low phosphate forumla, but just be sure to get ALL of the old stuff out
